This lovely cake is so soft and delicious and not too rich.
Usually, I always reduce sugar in recipes for dessert; however, in this case, I actually increased the sugar. I used 3 tablespoons of coconut sugar instead of just 2 tablespoons.
The dark chocolate makes this cake a little bitter, so the extra sugar is required. It is not a sweet cake at all.
Use Nuttlex if you wish it to be dairy-free.
